Who is Kain?
The artist known as Kain is a string bean bodied, dirt lovin’, climate activist, sex icon from California, USA. His work is informed by the worlds of environmental science, yoga, performing arts, and erotica. Mostly focused on exploring and creating options for alternative living, the question at his fulcrum is “what does appropriate action look like on the individual level?”
Kain was raised in the Central Valley of California in a family of six. In his early years, performing arts took center stage (pun intended) as he pursued education in the worlds of acting, singing, movement, and writing. Then, after taking an ecology course, Kain changed course and enrolled in an Environmental Science major with a focus on climate change and energy systems. Simultaneously, Kain developed his skill in the visual arts, as a creative outlet during a rigorous science degree. As his practice of the visual arts deepened, Kain also began creating nude portraiture and erotic content both as a way of attracting likeminded individuals and as an income source. Now, weaving the various elements above together, Kain offers visual and performance art, yoga classes, writing, and erotica; storytelling about the human body and the experience of living in this transitional moment.
